Jennifer Zimmerman joins The Recovery project as a Medical Scheduler and Biller

The Recovery Project, a leading provider of high-intensity physical and occupational therapies that improve the lives and functionality of patients with spinal cord and other neurological injuries, has welcomed Jennifer Zimmerman to its growing team. Charlie Parkhill, co-CEO of The Recovery Project, made the announcement.

In her new role with The Recovery Project, Zimmerman is responsible for coordinating patient and therapist schedules, as well as ensuring that proper medical documentation is in place and submitting medical billing claims to the proper insurance organizations. She most recently worked for Livonia Public Schools, and prior to that served as assistant food service director for HDS Services.

“Jennifer brings a willingness to learn and a desire to conquer new challenges to the team—assets that we highly value at The Recovery Project,” said Parkhill. “We’re excited to have her on board and look forward to leveraging her skills to continue our efforts in making an impact on the lives of our patients on a daily basis.”

Zimmerman lives in Livonia with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
