Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy (OT) is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all aspects of their lives.  It assists people in developing the “skills for the job of living” necessary for independent and satisfying lives.  OT focuses on the functional activities that are a part of everyday lives including self care, home management, community participation and work skills.

We at The Recovery Project are a specialty center for OT treatment of the neurological population including SCI, TBI and CVA populations.  Our facility offers state of the art equipment for treatment of neurological diagnoses.  Our therapist also provides OT services for the general neuro and orthopedic patient that requires therapy.

We also have expertise in various neuro re-education approaches including NDT, Saeboflex dynamic tone management and muscle re-education orthotics and Ness H200 e-stimulation orthosis intended for the neurologically impaired patient.
