The Recovery Project is an industry-leading rehabilitation practice that provides aggressive, focused, and effective rehabilitation to people with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders, and other conditions that impair mobility.
The project was founded by physical therapist Polly Swingle and her patient Charlie Parkhill, who was told he would never walk again after a spinal injury. An intensive program did not yet exist to treat Charlie when he was injured, so the determined duo decided to invent one themselves. Today, Charlie can walk over 100 feet unassisted.
The Recovery Project brings this level of dedication and innovation to every case that comes through our doors, and is constantly developing and improving treatments to provide life-changing services to those with mobility impairments.
