Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Program

The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Program provides comprehensive evaluation, intervention, and training services for individuals with complex communication needs resulting from neurological, developmental, or progressive conditions such as CVA, ALS, and TBI.

The program is designed to support functional communication, maximize participation in daily activities, and promote independence across environments.

Populations Served

  • Adults with acquired neurological conditions (e.g., CVA, TBI)
  • Individuals with progressive neurological disorders (e.g., ALS, Parkinson’s disease)
  • Individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Individuals with severe dysarthria, aphasia, apraxia of speech, or aphonia

Service Delivery

Services are provided through individualized therapy sessions with a Speech Language Pathologist
