WXYZ Workers Wanted: The Recovery Project is hiring physical and occupational therapists

A Livonia-based provider of high intensity, evidence based physical therapy and occupational therapy is rapidly expanding.

The Recovery Project focuses on improving the lives and functionality of patients with spinal cord and other neurological injuries.

Right now there are a number of positions open at the company’s Livonia and Clinton Township locations:

  • Speech Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physical Therapy Assistants
  • Physical Therapy Techs
  • Administrative Professionals (billing, scheduling, clerk)

The Recovery Project recently became one of the only clinics in Michigan to have a dedicated Functional Electrical Stimulation Specialty Center.  FES has been proven to improve cardiovascular health, increase bone density, maintain range of motion, reverse muscle atrophy, and improve functional activities of daily living in both children and adults with Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and other Central Nervous System disorders.
